This calculator is designed to assist users in estimating fertiliser quantities required to achieve target nutrient concentrations for hydroponic or substrate-based fertigation systems.
The information contained in this tool is based on knowledge and understanding at the time of development (December 2025). However, because of advances in knowledge, users are reminded of the need to ensure that the information upon which they rely is up to date and to check the currency of the information with the appropriate DPIRD officer, or the user's independent adviser.

The output of the calculator is based on user-entered data and general assumptions. DPIRD does not guarantee the accuracy, relevance, or validity of any results or outputs. Users are encouraged to independently verify results before applying any fertiliser or making changes to production practices.
In no event shall DPIRD be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in any way connected with the use of, or inability to use, this calculator. This includes, but is not limited to, losses involving crops, equipment, data, profits, or any other form of damage or loss.

All content, including algorithms, documentation, and visual design, remains the intellectual property of the creator(s). The calculator may not be reproduced, distributed, or modified without written permission.
User-entered data, including nutrient recipes, fertiliser selections, and EC targets, will be temporarily stored to improve user experience or enable session continuity. No personal or identifying information is collected unless explicitly requested for support or feedback purposes.
Stored data will be handled in accordance with WebMatrix's privacy and data processing policy.
